Naturally, I would assume that Elway's son's mechanics would be very good. However, almost everything I've read has said that John doesn't have all the finer points of being a QB down, including mechanics.
I still can't believe after 2 years of messing with you on here....you still don't know it's me.....D***F***! hahahahaha
SI thinks that both LSU and Fla St. are in the lead. But I feeling like most of yall that Fla St. is in the lead out of us to at this time. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/football/ncaa/05/23/rivals.receivers/index.html
Yes. My son ran into him at the gym the other day and he has a nasty scar on his arm . I suspect he will be recruited mostly as an ATH by the bigger schools and as a QB by the smaller schools. He is a solid kid.
Anybody have any info on D.C. Jefferson i see that he has great size and and decent 40. Also Does anybody know why we didnt recruit Terrelle Pryor 6-6, 220, QB, Jeannette (Pa.)
Mahtook's best chance of playing in college might be to eithe rattend an option-offense school or play DB. He has the ability at 6'1.5", nearly 200#, and legit 4.4 speed. He's also pretty hightly regarded as an outfield prospect. Kid has a fantastic baseball arm and could potentially play CF/RF at LSU.
I don't think Mahtook would be considered for DB this early in the recruiting game especially with Duplessis in the fold.
I know that you're asking someone else, but I think that Thomas should be a lower end #1 QB prospect or a #2 guy for LSU. Manuel and Luck should be pursued harder, and possibly even the kid from Arkansas.
I'm still not certain what we're recruiting him as. It looks to me like we are recruiting him as an athlete who could also be a secondary QB recruit if some other things fall through. I don't mind him being offered as an athlete, although there seems to be better WR prospects on the board. As a QB, I'm less than enthused at this point. We'll see how his senior year goes and what he does at camps to see where he fits best.
