Q about offensive "signals"

When Mauck is pointing, he is pointing at the possible blitzers to let the guys know who might be blitzing so the receivers can shorten their routes and also it lets the back know what to do too.

 

So, basically, nobody really knows, right?

One of my good friends wan an equipment manager a couple of years ago and he told me what it was, so I think I'm right.
