If the enviromentalists get their way and clean up the air and water a bit and it turns out they were wrong then we still have cleaner air and water. That is a good thing. If Kikkipoopoo gets his way and we do nothing and it turns out he is wrong we are fucked. I don't mind hedging my bet toward a cleaner environment.
For the record, I'm in no way in agreement with Kica . But every thing has a cost, and not just money. There are problems with doing everything, just as there are with doing nothing. I'm good with erring towards cleaner, but I'm not giving a blank check to anyone. And I'm not for starving some 3rd world kid so LA can have a better sunset. I want to know the collateral damage.
