For instance it was much warmer during the Roman Empire so warm that it was a major reason the Romans could conquer far off lands. They could cross mountain ranges easily because of lack of snow cover. That era was called the Climate Optimum crops flushed and food was plentiful because of the warmth. Barbarians conquered because they could travel more freely because of the lack of snow cover. Another warm period was during the early Viking era which is why Greenland was named Greenland. Then a long cold period began called the Little Ice Age. Why did these periods of warming and cooling began and end? Hell what caused the last great Ice Age to begin? What caused it to end? It wasnt man. Get a grip we have no affect on the earth current and future climate.
