1. Visitors wear white. LSU prefers to wear white. If the visiting team does not grant them this exception, LSU will wear purple jerseys.
  2. WHOA, let me stop what's coming......again. Not directed towards you geaux, but I know what will be next.

  3. That's no fun, I wanted the defense to wear white and the offense to wear purple.

  4. I remember one reason, I believe it was Saban, went to purple for some games was to honor the great teams of the 80's and on who wore purple for all home games. I believe this is right.
  5. Oregin St. in '04 is a more recent example.

True. DiNardo's first year. Year right after the Jamie Howard game on the plains. I was at the game. "THE MAGIC IS BACK!!!!!!.........THE MAGIC IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!"

This is the way I'd always heard it to be. Donn't know for a fact if it's true or not, But I seem to remember hearing or reading (not on Wikipedia) this at the begin of the Saban era.
  6. anyone else noticed keiland william's number on the back of his jersey?
the down pary of the 5 is longer than it should be. it looks funny. and its like that on both his white and purple jerseys. idk, just something that caught my eye and now it bothers me every time i see it. Is it just me?
  7. i tried to find a good picture of him where you could see the number clearly, but that sucker's always a blur of motion. couldn't really find one where you could see the number.

my question would be how does keiland's 5compare to the 5 in flynn's 15?

  9. Listening to Miles speak about LSU traditional taboos, I think he would purposefully wear Purple in a day game in the rain in Tiger Stadium just to put an end to the jinx theories. And this is the team to do that.

But, alas, he probably doesn't have that kind of Saban-like power yet. He's yet to be Canonized...(yes, that was a pun)
