lol I didnt vote, thanks genius. Oh and since you're panties are all wet, I could never pull against little nickie. relax people. lawdie.
Lighten up man, you act like you just lost the best coach in the history of your program.:dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: Last I heard he was still on the practice field with the team.
As soon as Ricky quit, we knew that we'd be here in December. Tirk, I cannot be the ONLY one who KNEW that we'd be right where we are today on that fateful late summer day when we learned that Ricky Williams quit football for this season. COME ON! It was a miracle that Wannstedt was not fired after last season. As soon as I heard the news about Ricky on WFAN radio up here near NYC, I KNEW that the Dolphins would be interviewing Coach Saban for the HC job for the Miami Dolphins. I was certain that Wannstedt would not get it done without Ricky and that Wayne Heuzinga would be putting big bucks on the table to lure Nick Saban to coach the Dolphins. We KNEW that we'd be right here in December, 2004! We KNEW that the Dolphins would be interviewing Nick Saban, and we KNOW that the Dolphins have a better chance of luring him away from LSU than does just about any other NFL franchise. The bright side is this: if Coach Nick Saban turns down the Dolphins, then that means he is going to stay at LSU for a very long time. Either way, we will find out very soon. The downside is that the timing is very bad, because Urban Meyer and Steve Spurrier both would have considered taking the LSU job, had it been open earlier. I really hope that Coach Saban stays. He puts LSU in a bad spot if he leaves now, because the best college coaching candidates are already hired at South Carolina and Florida. If Coach Saban goes to the Dolphins, I will wish him the best. I hope that Coach Saban does what is best for his wife and children, not what is best for LSU. :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :champs: :champs: :champs:
agree but to think anyone who is a loyal LSU fan or alum would actually root against him is assinine at best. I say let's keep the door open for him just in case.
here's my take This is the stupidest poll question I have ever seen....No knock on the author, but its one of those questions where the answer is obvious. And the people that vote the other way are very stupid and selfish. Saban is going to leave LSU eventually.....if you think he is going to stay here for ever, YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!! The team is loaded with talent, in my mind if he is going to go this is the time to do it. LSU has become a high quality position to have and not that it won't be in 2-3 yrs when Saban does take a NFL position, but I KNOW it is NOW....I don't know what its going to be like in 2-3 yrs. there is no way anyone on this board would turn down a raise of more that double your salary, especially when you've only been at your job for 4-5 yrs. So if Saban does decide to take a NFL job this season,,,I will support him 100%. I will root for him in the pros and throughout his career. LSU is where it is today because of Saban. He has brought us 2 SEC Championships and a National Championship. He has brought more to LSU than most would have expected in a short time. He has LSU fans more excited about football than ever. He has done his job........SUPPORT SABAN!!! If he does leave, here is my short list Butch Davis Tedford (Cal) Petrino Jimbo Fisher Will Muschamp
I pull for the Saints and the Packers. No matter who coaches what team, I like to see the NO Saints and the Green Bay Packers win games. Those are my favorite teams in the NFC. I like the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns in the AFC. I always pull for the NFC in the Super Bowl. I never watch the Pro Bowl.
agree and its something i meant to bring up yesterday. THE REAL REASON TO FOREVER HATE RICKY WILLIAMS! the demise of that team and the possible loss of our best fb coach of all time could be directly attributed to one confused, pothead who started his path of destruction from the Saints to Miami now full circle back to Louisiana. I will forever detest this UT bastard.
Although you must admit that it would be just a little entertaining to watch Saban unload on Rickey after he blows an assignment.
