Squalene... I'd have to start a thread to discuss this, and would if any were interested. It's makes for great conspiracy theory. Basically, a number of us have levels of squalene in our blood that are off the chart. The amount of squalene in our bodies could only have been introduced from an outside source. Experiments conducted in the 50's showed that squalene, used as a adjuvent, could significantly increase a vaccines potency. However, it was determined that the squalene caused serious side effects, and the FDA outlawed it's use. Tons of information obtained from BioPort, the former manufacturer of many government contracted vaccines, and from the FDA prove that this substance was illegally used on service members through multiple types of vaccines. The FDA referred to it as "significant contamination". Scientist at Tulane were the first to develop a test for the amount of squalene in a persons body. The government denies that their test are accurate. Perhaps the word "proves" is misleading. To us, the ones who now live with this day after day, it is proof. Tulane's test were sound. The FDA (federal government) and BioPort (government contractor), are liars. BioPort, due to extensive legal trouble, has since been sold to another company. They kept the same CEO however. We couldn't touch them due to their protected status as a government contractor. This issue ruled my life for a couple of years. I have testified all over the country, and been studied by doctors and scientist all over also. When we were beat legally by the feds, I decided to move on. There really wasn't much of a choice. I still communicate with most of the people who are trying to help us, but I am not active anymore. It was important for me to move on and try to make the most of the rest of my life....I feel that so far I'm doing pretty good. I am in pain every waking moment. There are numerous problems, and they can all be traced back to my immune system. On the bright side, I haven't had so much as a cold in over five years, and my hay fevers that plagued me my entire life, are completely curred. My son is four, and was conceived after I started having problems. He has never, I say again, never had so much as a sniffle. His doctor doesn't understand how he is always so healthy. He doesn't seem to suffer from the side effects the rest of us do, so maybe he is the intended result.
Thanks, that's a new one to me. I had to check it out. But there does seem to be serious objections to the 2002 report. Of course, this is a DoD source, and not without bias, perhaps. So, controvery lingers . . .
It's important to understand that it was not present in every lot of the anthrax vaccine. There were four lots, which 100% of us participating in the study, all received at least one shot from one of the lots. These four lots were not studied, of course, but the connection was made to these four lots by studying medical records from the participants. What complicates the matter is proof from FDA reports that BioPort was relabelling expired anthrax vaccine lots with new labels. The idiots were stupid enough to put the new labels over the old ones! BioPort couldn't keep up with demand, and decided to just ship old lots that had been relabeled. Due to this, it's sometimes hard to determine exactly which lot a person was administered. Also, it not just the anthrax vaccine in question. Ever heard of a malaria vaccine red? I bet not, since one doesn't exist...but I took three shots of one..that again, never existed.
I remember this. Stand in line and shut up. Go into the tent (one soldier at a time) SIGN THE RELEASE FORM and take your shot. Lessons learned? :nope: Just a few... Human nuclear testing Agent Orange It is all part of a contract. Anybody out there read it word for word prior to enlistment? I read the majority of it and comprehended much more later. PTSD pays 100% compensation. A few gator tears and my beer fund will pay for life. For me it would be a total scam. The issues related are individual in nature and there is no perfect science to disprove. Anybody can google the qualifying symptoms and stand in line with the many who do and do not qualify.
I feel, at this point, I should go on record with the below statment: I am probably the most pro-military person on this forum. I do not believe, however, signing up to serve your country is also giving them permission to use you as a guinea pig for new drugs. I have never blamed the military for what is now wrong with me. I blame the bureaucrats, and scumbag scientist, that decided it was in our best interest to test substances on us.
Wow, I also got vaccinated for malaria before and during the Nam tour. Wonder what the hell it was I was shot up with? :angryfire
This would seem to be something that definitely requires an explanation. Experimental malaria vaccines have existed since 1987 but none have been approved or been deemed effective in clincial studies. Unfortunately, the Army has a long history of using soldiers as experimental guinea pigs. Do you think . . . How long can squalene stay in the body? Since it is naturally occurring in the body and we can't live without it, I guess the question is "How long can a high imbalance of squalene stay in the body?" A systemic squalene imbalance could not be passed to your son by a single sperm cell. Nor does it seem likely to cause a genetic mutation (although I'm not a biochemist or a geneticist). Perhaps your son is just a healthy child from good genetic stock. In any case, thanks for pointing out the differences between GWS and PTSD. Another question--does PTSD occur alongside GWS frequently or rarely?
Seems like a bad deal all around. I feel for you Salty. As to guys scamming the system, as long as there is a system, there will always be people abusing it. Just calls for tougher screening, not scrapping a system. In my experience, Karma usually catches up with people that look for shorcuts all the time. We can only hope for the same in this situation.
Good question. I think it would be more like clinical depression. You have so many people, like myself, that just a few years ago could run a marathon, hump twenty miles with full combat load and all crew served weapons, bench press 300+ pounds, and had never came close to reaching their physical limitations. Within months, it became difficult just to walk a few yards due to the pain throughout the body. I would think the PTSD type symptoms associated with GWS are due to depression. I don't know a great deal about PTSD to be honest. Marines are not as susceptible to such disorders. Keep in mind, I spent nine plus years literally praying for war. We wanted nothing more than a chance to engage and kill the enemy. I morn the loss of close friends in combat, but no memory has an ill effect on me. It actually surprised me a little how well myself, and my fellow Marines, dealt with things that you always thought would screw you up mentally. I can, however, understand how full blown depression can kill a man. I've seen it happen, and it almost took me at one time. Again, thankfully, I decided to make something of my life..instead of laying around feeling sorry for myself.
Well, he's definitely from good genetic stock as you say...he's my boy. :thumb: I'm at a loss to explain it myself. I understand how the squalene isn't able to be passed on to him. There have been, however, many reports of different types of birth defects. Due to the research, and first hand reports, my wife and I almost didn't have another child. We were a little worried. Thankfully he is perfectly healthy. He does have some minor developmental issues that we are going to great lengths to help him conquer. I have teachers here at the house three days a week to work with him. He has shown great progress over the last year. He is fully expected to be on course to start preschool this year with his peers. He will continue to receive therapy until it is determined that he no longer requires it. I can't explain his immune system. But we are a family that is extremely intuned to such things, and believe his lack of a single virus or infection in four years is just a little strange. Who knows....?
