I read where he said he was going to make only one more visit to either Oregon or LSU, so it looks like LSU is out of it. It's fine, no one would even be talking about this kid if he hadn't entered our name in the eighth inning out of nowhere. I more worried about getting Deandre Brown back on track.
IMO it doesn't really matter where he goes. If we end up meeting the team he chooses in a bowl game... he'll find out 1st hand why he should've chosen LSU and might end up wanting to transfer in. LOL. That is unless we end up hurting him.
Either way it helps out LSU in few ways. If he commits to LSU, we have a very nice QB at our arsenal. However, Jordan Jefferson might not be as confident coming to LSU and could eventually transfer if he is lagging behind the QB competition. Next year, one of the top QBs out of St. Paul in Mobile probably would not want to come to LSU with all the competition at the QB spot. Some consider us to be in the lead for his services next year.
Call me an optimist but I was starting to think the stars were aligning for us on this guy. I thought he would give us a visit then we would have a chance. Oh well, we'll get another great QB next year.
This Morning on Rivals radio (Bill King) I heard a recruiting guru say that TP wanted to take 2 more visits after UM. Oregon was one of them, They did not say who the second team was. :milesmic:
rivals is too against us so it pains them to admit that pryor is interested in us so they try to avoid it when I listen to rivals every day and every time they ask about Terrelle Pryor they don't really even mention LSU they go so far as to say that he is still interested in FL even though he isn't
I think everybody should read this post 10 times straight. And then buy into it. Cuz Bhelm is 100 percent correct on this one. Jordan Jefferson will be a damn fine QB in due time.
I am pretty sure this is the latest from Pryor. From his recruiting diary: http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/08025/852132-365.stm
The news is all over the place, can anyone confirm? Here are his plans according to the Times Picayune: http://www.nola.com/lsu/t-p/football/index.ssf?/base/sports-2/120124211511210.xml&coll=1
is true from what I've heard, but this changes day-to-day. He really shouldn't be playing basketball right now. it's making stuff a lot harder on him.
