Speaking of dumb . . . . We are about to have an international summit between two leaders that control nuclear weapons. One describes the summit as “very tremendous” and the other is riding several thousand miles on an armored train. A freaking train. In 2019. Have any of you ever used the compound adjective, “very tremendous?” Hell, have you ever heard anyone say “very tremendous” in public. Or private? Damn.
I enjoy the comedy value. She's a farcical character that would shine in a sequel to 'Confederacy of Dunces'. There's lots of people like that, but how the hell could a congressional district vote her in office? It's like making the village idiot the mayor.
16,000 votes. Not really that significant but somehow got all the media. I think we know what's going on.
She really deserves a thread of her own. Now she is going to be a superhero un a comic book. https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/ocasio-cortez-to-star-as-washington-warrior-in-comic-book
Shed be way nuttier pregnant. But she's probably a baby killer. To save the environment and all. She s an example of a generation of liberal like minded campuses with no checks and balances. Real capitalism and true America have been removed from their teachings. Socialism and guilt are no longer so subtle. She is a product of such nonsense and has a lot of followers who agree. Pretty gd scary. Boston University should close but most are similar. Those crazy eyes would kill it. Shed be better facing the other way nekkid however.
Not sure where this is best posted but the idiocy of the Green New Deal is almost unbelievable. Here is a study that shows it will cost $90 TRILLION to implement. Also I have a question....How much additional CO2 emissions will come from all the steel required for the wind turbine towers, rail for high speed railways, engines and cars for those high speed railways? How much environmental damage will come from mining the rare earth minerals for batteries, permanent magnets, solar cells etc? https://reason.com/blog/2019/02/25/study-green-new-deal-could-cost-more-tha?utm_medium=email
AOC recently commented that the costs and effort wouldn't be much different from the way the nation put a man on the moon in 1969. That program pretty much started from scratch in the mid 50's, but the dollar figures don't come close. A 2010 story put the combined cost of the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs at about $189 billion in 2010 dollars. Doesn't begin to scratch the surface of 90 trillion. http://www.thespacereview.com/article/1579/1
it was either her or Sex in the City's Cynthia Nixon. Nixon was the far more moderate extreme liberal.
