Well before you go being too hard on yourself, understand that most of us here are abnormal. Winston seems like a great guy. I applaud the liberals who remain here to discuss their viewpoint even though they’re in the minority. It’s ok (even fun) when we disagree here, we jut gotta keep perspective.
I agree that Winston's probably a great guy and I would guess that we fall on the same side of the political spectrum. Sometimes I wonder if he realizes that we are in the 21st century. At the end of the day it's no big deal. He's entitled to his beliefs and viewpoints and as I and anyone else entitled to theirs.
Winston is a strict constitutionalist and he expects his politicians to adhere to those standards. Unfortunately the world has changed and there is nobody who can win an election who comes close to upholding those beliefs. It has become a neverending battle of tit for tat. The best we can do is vote for the candidate who is closest to our side and hopefully he will do some good and at the same time keep the evil forces of the wacko left at bay and out of power. Joe Biden wouldn't totally ruin the country but he would do more harm than good. If any of the other Dems win that's the death of the greatest nation the world has ever known. Hate Trump if you must. He is crass, crude and unpresidential but he gets some good things accomplished.
