Technically .... a “subsidy” is entered on the accounts receivable side, .... whereas a tax credit, impacts the accounts payable side. As far as bottom line, the bottom line is that if Amazon locates somewhere else, the millions in payroll and city and state sales tax revenue go with it. Hey ... we rednecks in AR would love for Amazon to locate here in LR.
