The hopeful thing is if this group demand the purity it seems, there will never be more than a small rump of these idiots in Congress. Historically the people of the United States May swing from one side of center to the other we don’t go too far. This has been demonstrated by the tea party and other conservative coalitions over the last 30 years. Unless this millennial generation goes as radical as these people the same thing will happen to them. We are a practical people for the most part. The so called issues and solutions being pushed by these radicals is well out of the mainstream today. If they become mainstream there are two points. First conservatives will have done a poor job of advocating our ideas and principles or we haven’t lived up to them (can I hear Trumpf). Second if they do we’re well and truly screwed as a country, a civilization and each of us individually. It will be time to see if the several hundred million guns and billions of rounds can show why the 2nd amendment was included.

I don't believe you can be both, at least not at such far ends of the spectrum.
True. The entire NGD approach is actually comparable to the approach used by a certain dictator to control a certain country. "1) Use social programs to hypnotize the people. 2) Since we are paying, you must comply. 3) Arrive to totalitarianism. Control of the transportation system. (earlier country's planes, trains, and automobiles vs NGD's total upheaval of our transportation system) Control of education by providing it "free". (Indoctrination) Control of labor Control of home life Control of "fun" Control of Health & diet " This looking familiar yet?
