Do you really think ND is dropping to 12th in the Human polls. ESPN wasn't exactly saying they were exposed last night. Lee was saying they should be in the Rose Bowl. Those guys were pumping ND up after they had just gotten the crap beat out of 'em. :geauxtige

If we are number 5 this week, we are a lock for the BCS. If florida wins, we are the obvious choice for the last at large.

If Arky wins we should move up to 4 which would make us automatic.

Another reason they are considered a BCS team is simply because they are Notre Dame. I have never understood the infatuation the media has with certain teams based on media market size or ancient history. When Herbstreit said that ND should go to the Rose because of Knute Rockne and the four horsemen I got dizzy and almost lost consciousness my brain was so shocked. Until there is a playoff or the media is taken completely out of the picture it will always be a mythical national title. Notre Damn is a weak weak team and is no way near BCS worthy but they're in, that you can take to the bank.

My dog just stopped rolling from the kick I gave him. We should always watch games with fellow LSU fans so we can vent without hurting loved ones.

Why would Louisville or Rutgers winning the Big East title eliminate them from an at-large bid? My understanding is that there is a good chance the Orange Bowl will pit the ACC champion against the Big East title.

Doesn't the big east winner get an automatic bid which would mean they wouldn't need an at large?

Louisville winning and Rutgers losing would get Louisville the Big East title and an auto-BCS bid. Louisville is our greatest threat from the Big Least so we want them to win the confrence so they can't steal a bid from LSU (unlikey).
