actually, they probably will pass us to make USC look that much better...again, the politics of the polls.

also regarding the coach's poll, have you not heard the recent allegations on talk radio and tv that some coach's do not even do the voting? they let the SIDs do the voting for them. the system is wrong and needs to be changed.

Alabama has lost twice in like 30 years in Tiger stadium... should the pollsters look at that ....

One thing I can say about the polls this year is that they ARE looking at style points, and rightly so.

LSU played like crap against OSU and got hammered for it. Same thing against Troy and now against Ole Miss.

Look at Auburn. Even tho OU has been winning, altho barely in 2 of those games, Auburn has caught OU in the polls.

Again, thank goodness they are doing the right thing. Years past, Auburn has no chance. Now the humans voting seem to be taking their job seriously, since they hold 2/3 of the answer in the BCS now.

Only time we really got hammered was UGA cuz they cut our ass bad.... Troy we dropped one poll slot, but its Troy..... Ole Miss is an SEC team that gave Auburn a game in the first half.... you know regardless of the score LSU outplayed them in the second half and I think coaches and media will see that ...

Believe me, it was a big deal at the time. Go back and read up on some of the threads on here.

I can understand dropping after OSU lost the game (missed PAT), but LSU won the game today, Troy played us to the end and they are a Con USA or whatever team. When coaches see an SEC game with the history of UM/LSU especially at DV in the last 8 years, they take that into consideration (I think). Besides I think that the nation knew we werent the number 3 team in the nation, and used our loses to two top 10 teams as excuses.

Dont get me wrong, I dont think we are a top 15 team right now, but we win games and people see that. we could easily be 6-5 right now... but we arent.

Ole Miss is horrible. There is no other way to put it.

It was probably the most embarrasing win under Nick Saban at LSU.

If this were a style point system wouldn't you think USC and Oklahoma would have dropped some for pulling out some extremely close games??
