Lunchtime talking heads on ESPNU Radio are advocating for Minnesota to be ranked ahead of Bama. They argue their resumes are about identical, and Bama's only advantages are 1. name recognition, 2. history, and 3. Tua.

Now one of them did say he still has tOSU ahead of LSU, but that's not a bad thing when you think about it. If all goes as expected, LSU, tOSU and Clemson lock down the top 3 spots. 4 is the question mark, and you know history suggests Bama will get it. So let tOSU have them in the 1-4 matchup.

I agree. If we rematch Bama lets do it in the National Championship game. Let tOSU play them in the 1st round.

Everyone across the country needs to get behind the idea that bama doesnt get a 3rd second try to win the championship.

I would almost be willing to throw a close SEC Championship game against Georgia to keep Bama out of the playoffs. No way the committee puts Bama in over the SEC Champion. And LSU would still make the playoffs. (I did say ALMOST)

So I missed on OU, not taking into account the fact they nearly lost to a mediocre team.

The biggest takeaway is Alabama at #5 behind Georgia, as I predicted. The committee has officially set themselves up to leave Alabama out with a 1 loss Big 10 and Pac 12 team. That is huge.

Oklahoma falling to 10 may have just spelled their doom.

    Nothing will change ...

Bama gets the 4 spot after an Auburn Win.

We must play Bama ... Period.

If OSU jumps us to Number 1 in the remaining weeks after beating Minnesota, then they get Bama first and we play Clemson

I’m ready to Truck Either ... Clemson or Bama

    New Rankings 11/12

    1. LSU (9-0) ... 1 plays 4 (Atlanta)
    2. Ohio St (9-0) ... 2 plays 3 (Ariz)
    3. Clemson (10-0)
    4. Georgia (8-1)
    5. Alabama (8-1)
    6. Oregon (8-1)
    7. Utah (8-1)
    8. Minnesota (9-0)
    9. Penn State (8-1)
    10. Oklahoma (8-1)
    11. Florida (8-2)
    12. Auburn (7-2)
    13. Baylor (9-0)
    14. Wisconsin (7-2)
    15. Michigan (7-2)
    16. Notre Dame (7-2)
