1. LSU 2. Ohio State 3. Clemson 4. Georgia 5. Oregon 6. Alabama 7. Utah 8. Oklahoma 9. Penn State 10. Florida Two things to watch. And the only two I might have wrong. So I'm thinking slightly outside the box, and I'm going with the committee reassessing Alabama without Tua and saying that Oregon right now is the better team, resume, eye test, etc. Then the other thing to watch if Oklahoma does indeed jump Penn State. If they don't, Oklahoma is in a world of hurt to make the playoffs. They are probably toast.
I don’t see Oregon jumping BAMA at this time. If it happens, it probably comes in the PAC12 CCG, unless BAMA falters prior to or barely wins against The Barn.
AP rankings came out and agree with my assessment. Alabama drops below Georgia and very nearly dropped below Oregon. I stand by my claim that Alabama will swap with Oregon Tuesday night. https://apnews.com/APTop25CollegeFootballPoll Coaches move Alabama down as well although Oregon isn't as close to Bama in this poll. https://www.usatoday.com/sports/ncaaf/polls/amway-coaches-poll/2019-2020/2019-11-17/
The Barn will come in hungry; Nix is developing skills & confidence before our eyes (it's what happens when one plays in the SEC especially). GEAUX Barners! ♬ There, I said it again.....♬

1 through 3 are clearly the cream of the crop despite Clemson's less than stellar SOS. Georgia would be in that group without the brain fart vs the Cocks and Bama despite losing to LSU (It feels great to say that) except the loss of Tua drops them into the lower group, a bunch of good but not great teams Oklahoma can beat anybody on any give Saturday but they can also lose to anybody on any given Saturday. I have no idea where Oregon and Utah would rank in a true power index but both are unproven against good teams and thus unknown. Penn State may be better than either one of them but we will see Saturday if they can hold their own vs the Buckeyes. I expect them to keep it close for a half before the floodgates open. The team that might be the actual 5th best is Florida with losses only against #1 and #4.
We won't be #1 next week which is not all that horrible. But well see, maybe Penn St has a game dialed in.
Yea I have a feeling penn state is going to get wrecked by 21+. Only the end of the season matters, but OSU passing us is NOT good. I do not want to face Clemson or OSU in round 1 if we make the playoff.
They might have OSU jump us this next week. However, if we win out and beat UGA, we "should" have that #1 spot. I think that will be crucial this year.
