    Well,
If the Clinton Administration would've done their jobs of protecting the country
against terrorists we wouldn't have had to go into Afghanistan or Iraq not to
mention the WTC would still be standing and 3,000 more people could be alive
    today in NYC.
So much for Clinton's Lagacy and his supporters, its all being revealed.
Imagine how many casualties could've been saved not only on 9/11 but
all the soldiers that died in uniform after 9\11.
I wonder what those on the left would say, those that scream about the casualty count.

Michael F. Scheuer, who from 1996 to 1999 led the Central Intelligence Agency unit that tracked Mr. bin Laden, said the State Department documents reflected a keen awareness of the danger posed by Mr. bin Laden's relocation.

"The analytical side of the State Department had it exactly right - that's genius analysis," he said in an interview when told of the declassified documents. But Mr. Scheuer, who wrote a book in 2004 titled "Imperial Hubris," under the pseudonym "Anonymous," that was highly critical of American counterterrorism strategies, said many officials in the C.I.A.'s operational side thought they would have a better chance to kill Mr. bin Laden in Afghanistan than they did in Sudan because the Sudan government protected him.

"The thinking was that he was in Afghanistan, and he was dangerous, but because he was there, we had a better chance to kill him," Mr. Scheuer said. "But at the end of the day, we settled for the worst possibility - he was there and we didn't do anything."

What do you say now Mystikilusion?

    All hindsight Red.

Absent some proof to back that up, I'll chalk it up to ignorance and politics.

The problem with a lot of Americans today is that they have no stomach for war. That is the biggest incentive our enemies have to keep up their resistance.

Post baby boomers think that it was always milk and honey and don't want to have the apple cart shaken up. I'm afraid that once "The Greatest Generation" has died out, hard lessons are going to be learned.

I tried to give you rep points for this but can't for now.
This is what I've said on previous posts here at free speach.

This country has no stomach or will for war, seems like we want peace at
    all cost.
Maybe we've had it too good for too long?

I believe our government could not have prevented 9/11 until I see some credible information stating we knew when and where these attacks were going to occur. It was a complete and utter failure by everyone in our government responsible for protecting the homeland.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but it was going to happen regardless who occupied the White House. And there is plenty enough blame to go around ... including Clinton and Bush.

Wait, why does something that has no connection, ie has no proof because it never happened need to be proved?

I would think the burden of proof matter lies with whomever thinks Iraq and 9/11 were connected.

even if 9/11 has nothing to do with iraq, iraq should have still been invaded.

What do you want? A thank you note from Saddam to Bin Laden?

The connection involved time and space. I've already given my opinion on the reasons for going after Saddam and how they related to 9/11. The NY Times is already trumpeting your bird call.

Mr. SabanFan, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

9/11 Commission Report not enough proof (or should I say, 'non-proof') for you, SabanFan?

Nice list. Now if you'd care to make the connection b/w 4&5 and 8&9, it might make some sense.
