And Paul is the second coming of Christ, huh? Voter support is not based on the amount of financial contributions a candidate gets. All candidates need financial support from both individuals and corporations. Paul is no different. That does not mean they are "bought." Nor is it a reflexion of their character.
I wasn't trying to attack you either, it's just that what you're saying about Paul isn't really correct. I know I can be overzealous and if you don't want to discuss the merits of presidential candidates I understand. Politics is a hot button issue. I haven't researched the rest of the candidates in depth, but the impression I get of Thompson is that he'll keep things status quo. I have trouble differentiating him from Romney, offhand. Maybe you can open my eyes. Huckabee is second in my eyes as far the Republican candidacy goes. I do think we agree on something though... :geauxtige Really, would you know the second coming of Christ if you met him on the street? I do think Paul is a very good person and candidate and he seems to carry himself in an intellectually, politically, and religiously honest way, which isn't the best recipe for party support or third party support. Voter support, in large part I believe, is affected by who the political parties pump up, not necessarily by who the best candidate is. I seriously don't trust Ghouliani and feel Romney doesn't have a problem telling the voters what they want to hear.
For real? One would think a candidate who got more support from individuals vs. large corporations would actually have a better following and a stronger message.
For the 4th election in a row I shall ONCE AGAIN write in my vote in support of Ted Nugent for Prez. It has always been an easy choice! :thumb:
