The House votes to hold Holder in criminal contempt. The charge refers the dispute to the District of Columbia U.S. Attorney, who is an appointee of Obama and works for Holder. I guess that is the end of that little game.
It's all pretty much political theatre in an election year. It's now up to the Justice Department to prosecute the case and they will decline to do so . . . just as Bush's Justice Department declined to prosecute the two White House officials held in contempt of Congress in the last administration.
