He's been running third team, though, so not a significant loss. We are deeper at CB this year, no question, but it remains to be seen if the guys we have are better than Bernard and Garner. I am leaning toward thinking that Alexander and Chestnut are, and I am starting to feel comfortable with Stamps and Welch, as well.
Kelly said during his press conference today that Denver Harris is handling some personal matters and could be back this week. Sounds like coach speak, but he probably wouldn't say he could be back if that wasn't true.
Anybody heard how a transfer from Kennesaw, Welton Spottsville, is doing? Listed as a CB, where we appear to be really deep. He is from Havelock, the town here in eastern NC where I taught. Do not know him, I retired before he must have come along. Nevertheless, it’s pretty cool to have a Tiger from the neighborhood! Havelock High School turns out some excellent football players. I think LSU has made offers in the past, but I’m not aware of any of them accepting.
@HalloweenRun Don't know about anyone else, but this is the first time I've seen that name. He's on the roster, #41, listed at safety. Other than that....
Good read here. I had no idea that the SEC didn't set conference schedules until the divisions were instated in '92. https://www.nola.com/sports/lsu/how...ad7-fbea5afbfd96.html#tncms-source=featured-3
"Smith’s suspension v FSU stems from 2021 autograph-signing, ~1 month before NIL was legalized. On appeal, NCAA told LSU: No grandfather clause" is there no end to the grand fuckery of the fuckstain dickwads at the NCAA??
Let's be thankful that it is at a position of depth and not one of the DBs. We'll still mop the floor with the seminholes.
