Well, in all fairness, LSU's offense didn't show up in Oxford on that night. I think they let the New Orleans Saints sit in for them or something....

And as far as the defense... well, Name another team that could give Ole Miss the ball 3 times and still come away with the win...

And yes, GA was quite able to move the ball against LSU. But for some reason, they couldn't get in the endzone. And as far as the 3 missed FG's... well, we missed one too... so by that school of thought, the score still woulda been 20-19....

Here's some interesting info for everyone to look at....

My point to all of this is, I know GA has improved since our last meeting... But, this LSU team is not by any means the same LSU team that beat Georgia by a score of 17-10. I hope they realize that....To tell you the truth, if I were Georgia, I'd be worried about the true freshman you are gonna have starting at center.... Can you say... Tiger Bait??

Richt said it himself after they won against an OUTSTANDING Georgia Tech club by a 34-17 score...

"LSU is firing on all cylinders right now. They can play with anybody in the country."

    Hmm...

Some of your fans, your sportswriters, hell, even your own COACH admits it!

LSU's going to "lower the boom" on your candyasses!

    Your nightmare starts Saturday night!

I dont see anyone scoring over 20-23 points...I think we both under-estimate the others defense

Richt is about as humble of a coach as you will find on the planet.

Richt called off the Dawgs at 27-3 against Tech.

Richt will always find something positive to say about the other team, just like Bobby Bowden does. Bowden is the one who taught him that in the first place.

I see Georgia scoring at least 26.

The punt block against Tech was a warm up for what was exposed when Ole Miss simply missed the ball.

And this time, an interception for a TD will be in order.

Not to mention some Arrow pass plays to Tyson Browning and a better running game. Look for Fred Gibson to go for close to 100 yards in pass receptions as well. And the odds of LSU being able to rely on missed field goals are getting very long.

Don't give me this Gibson crap, the scouting report on him is that he is soft (i.e. hates contact) you think Webster, the best cover corner in the SEC, is going to give him a cushion. Webster practices against a guy who is not only better than Gibson but far more physical. Gibson will be lucky to get 50 yards.

You better hope your kicker is having a good day, that is the only way you will get points on the board. I do not want to hear anymore excuses.

UGA keeps talking about how they want a shot at LSU, our Tigers want UGA again just to shut up the nation on all this "you got lucky crap."

This will not be the home field advantage UGA thinks it is going to be. There will be far more LSU fans than Arky fans last year.

Boy Sat. should be a fun day for everyone.

haha. You are dead wrong about Gibson. He will have 50 yards in the first quarter.

No one can cover Gibson 1v1.

What was exposed was that the Ole Miss player was unable to take the correct route to ball. Our defenders were in position. He went too far outside. Had he tried to take the route to the ball, he would have had to go THROUGH our defender (which means he doesn't get near the ball or the player).

All that is exposed is the Ole Miss player's lack of ability to hold up when he takes the wrong route and your lack of knowledge about that play.

Oh yeah, and UGA didn't rely on our missed FG that would have made it 20-10 (or 20-19 if you had made ALL 3 missed FGs).

Either that, or it will open up other passing routes if they double team him. LSU simply won't be able to blitz as much either. This is a dilema that Saban and crew didn't have to deal with the first time around.
