Mike Patrick pointed out tonight that Rice's 3 starters are all sophomores. They will be a formidable team next year. And based upon what's happening now (8-0) they'll be shooting for 2 in a row.

    I'll be there

I'm going to Omaha next year! Makin' the plans now. We need to light up our offense a little more, but our frozen 04 offense is still gonna light up everyone else.

    Will we win the SEC?

    Will we host a mini-regional?

    Will we host a SR?

Will we advance to the CWS?

I'm pessimistically optimistic:shock: about our chances next year.

Do I think we can get to CWS, no question.

Dominant pitching staff? Not quite, a quality staff that can get it done, but not dominant.

Should we be able to knock the living custard :cuss: out of the ball? Absolutely. Regardless of whose pitching.

Did Smoke really make that comment? I don't remember it. I like it although it is a little ballsy.

I think we will have a really strong and deep pitching staff next year, but I dont think our aces can match up against a team like Rice or CSF. We have really solid pitchers but no mega stars, I wouldnt rank any of them in the top 25 of college pitchers.

I don't see any reason why LSU can't win it all. Great staff returning. Great bats coming back. Good class coming in. No one else in the SEC really turns my head for next year except for LSU
