FYI, LSU has a similar run game as Auburn. We like to pound the ball and our QB has got some wheels too. Boise is a very well coached team, but they don't have athletes like we do across the board. I think it'll be a great game, Oregon has a tough scheme to plan for but LSU has strong lines (offensive and defensive). We don't play teams like Oregon, with such a fast-paced offense very often so that could factor in as well
I see LSU by five, putting up 28. Here's my reasoning... Oregon isn't going to have the ball that often if Krag keeps the calls on the ground. It's a matter of Oregon replacing five of their front seven versus LSU returning four of five on the offensive line alone.
Aren't you going to be without two game-changers on the defense? A CB and LBer? And doesn't the CB return punts?
No one knows much about the linebacker, he has been the back up behind matthews. But yes harris will be out. He will be missed in special teams, until jefferson proves he can throw it won't hurt us on defense quite as much
Jefferson has shown sparks at times. Unluckily for Oregon, those sparks came in domes, against non-conference opponents, in the opening and last games of the season. And yes, if he throws for 200 yards, it will likely be a blowout.
