I keep thinking Rudy maybe should be the Director of Homeland Security. I am not sure if I like him as the AG, but anyone will be better than Loretta Lynch. That being said, I wouldn't want Chris Christie there; I would like him kept out of the administration.

I do think Newt will be the Secretary of State. Does Trump throw a bone to Ted Cruz in any way?

He always wanted to be President, and that never worked out for him. This might be the second-best thing for him at this point.

He said he wants to be some sort of senior planner figuring out a way to restructure the federal govt. This would not be doable as a cabinet member with the time constraints.

But he may succumb anyhow. I rather enjoy listening to him speak however.

The next in line is Corker.

I thought I saw where Carson was education. I was no Trump fan nor am I today. Some of these choices are scary. The denier he put in charge of environmental transition hurts. But I am not gonna weep or riot about it.

I agree with you on Bannon, Palin, and Christie.

Laura Ingraham would do fine, IMO.

Ingraham is poison? I'm not seeing it. She's extremely intelligent, outspoken, mother to 3 adopted kids, very successful.

She doesn't believe in gay marriage but has said her views on gays were tempered after finding out her brother is gay. She also doesn't believe in abortion. And?

Trump ran on a conservative platform. Selecting people who support it is not a mistake. If libs don't like it, well that's what the other side has been dealing with for 8 years. There is no reason for any President, President-elect to suddenly change their direction because they are worried about being politically correct. He ran. He won. Let him do his thing and if he fucks it up then he'll be impeached or the Dems will take over again in 4 years.
