    When I was a kid, I never understood what was so bad about the popcorn/toast/jelly bean Thanksgiving dinner.

    Those turduckens work out pretty good. Pick it up on Wednesday and pop it in the oven on Thanksgiving.

    My family was in a similar bind once(last minute health issues) and Cracker Barrel put together quite a spread.

    Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like City Cafe is our go-to place for the side dishes, and the turkey was ordered from somewhere too (fried I hope :D ).
