Try this, if you haven't already. Pour corn in bucket. Mix in granulated grape kook aid and grape jellotin plus brown sugar. Add a pack of yeast, then put some grape jelly and stir then pour grape soda and let it soak for a few days. Dig a 1 1/2 to 2 ft hole with a post hole digger. Pour some corn then cover, repeat- making a few layers. When they fond it they will wallow it up into a big wallow, eventually. Keeps them around a bit. I just learned about this recently as I am new to deer/hog hunting but it works. I just haven't been able to put in the time to go climb a tree.
We over run with them around here. I trapped em for a while but got tired of dealing with it. I soaked corn in diesel and beer. They destroyed it. Now I just go walk black creek and shoot as many as I want to fool with. Bastards are lousy round here
