Like alcoholism, beating the problem of the BCS is a process. And if today's developments are any indication, a long one. But it's also clear that under the status quo the NC picture won't change an iota. Super-conferences may not be a perfect path to a playoff, but it's one that has a reasonable chance of success and enough of a financial payoff to make everyone happy, if done properly.
