I agree. Not so much with football, but some of these possible moves make zero sense when it comes to the other sports. I mean UT, having to send its lessor sprts to play in Washington makes no geographic sense.

OU in the east and Florida St or VT in the west would be great for the SEC.

    1. Some of you may have seen the report on News5 tonight in Oklahoma City suggesting Josh Heupel had told onlookers... Some of you may... | Facebook about 8 hours ago via Facebook
    2. SoonerScoop.com just spoke with Oklahoma's Josh Heupel. He did not receive a text saying OU was headed to the SEC contrary to KOCO5 about 8 hours ago via web

Right now the Pac 10 (16) would look to be sitting pretty if they got all of their invites. Oklahoma, OSU, Colorado, Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech all add a lot of power to that conference. However, what happens if the SEC steals A&M, or even worse, Oklahoma and/or Texas? Suddenly the SEC is definitively the strongest conference in the country, and who would the Pac 10 be left with? That would be funny to watch!

I think you got em switched there man. If you're like me, then I know how rough your morning are.

FWIW, I'm happy all this seems to be happening quickly. If it's gonna happen, let's get it over with so I can start sizing up our new competition. I need to know which colors to burn

If Oklahoma came into the SEC West who would balance them in the East Division? Virginia Tech? North Carolina? Clemson? I don't think so.

That would put two of the top-5 in the All Time Team Rankings in the SEC West along with a third top-10 football program. The SEC East, which has only one program in the top-10, could only add Miami (#13) or Georgia Tech (#15). The SEC West would be overloaded with top-10 programs and the East still keeps both cupcakes (Vanderbilt and Kentucky).

If Oklahoma comes into the West, then Alabama must go to the East in return for Vanderbilt.
