i couldnt agree more.

not having the "me me me, look at me" attitude, along with the public strong arm personality with things like saying a school has 72 hours to decide, that some of the other conferences have, makes the sec and their dealings look a lot better. this has got to be earning the conference some respect.

now if the sec would do something to raise their respectability in regards to officiating.....

Hell, they couldn't even get their own mascot head...had to steal it from Iowa! Plus, Mama Fishy just got laid off by the bastids...last day, June 30th. Listen, it's a nice little school...it really is...but their programs and facilities are NOT SEC caliber. Can you imagine the craziness of an LSU-USM matchup in that place? Hell, half of Hattiesburg is LSU fans...and I cannot imagine the debacle of them trying to host an LSU or Bama or FL crowd. No way.
