I have seen it mentioned in several places. However, I see the Duke/UNC part as being driven by fans. It's always accompanied by something to the effect of SEC is going for the best football AND basketball conference. Virginia Tech has been mentioned so much that there seems to be some fire to go along with the smoke.
The problem is that the wind keeps changing directions, so to speak. All indications now are that they are coming to the SEC. I will say this. If Slive is actually working on this then he is doing it the right way. Because nobody knows wtf is really going on. If he's truly making moves then he's gaining respect of the Universities he's calling upon in the process. Very little, if anything, is getting leaked out. That means a lot to those officials at the universities he is (supposedly) working with.
