I saw that. Proud of them for doing that. They fought some of the fiercest battles in this countries history. To try and deny them accesss to their memorial is despicable. The politicians have forgotten they work for us.
Obama is showing his petulance by closing down any and all things even slightly partnered with the Federal Govt. This is their 5th and perhaps last attempt at killing Obamacare and they can't see that this won't work.

The house funded everything needed to keep the government going. The only thing they left out was Obamacare funding. The senate should carry the blame of government shutdown, not the house.
