I actually have a legitimate question about the Rep points!! I was trying to leave SabanFan positive feedback for this thread, http://www.tigerforums.com/showthread.php?p=481768#post481768 , post #2 because, well I thought it was funny. However, I got an error that said I had to spread some rep around before I could give it to him again. I haven't gave rep to SabanFan today so why is this an error. Also he wasn't the last person I gave Rep to. I'm new so I'm not sure if this is something that has been changed recently or if it has always been like this. Help Appreciated.
I'm sure SabanFan will send you a Xmas card after reading your post. He's seems to have the role of village malcontent on this site so any postive rep will be a welcome surprise to him. To answer your question I think you have to give Reputation to at least a dozen different ppl before you can assign more reputation to the same user.

The system won't allow someone to give repeated rep to another member. It keeps shills like the Mad Red X'er from just piling up good or bad rep on somebody. You have to actively give rep to a number of other people before it will allow you to give rep to SabanFan again.
Thanks. As I don't keep a diary of who I disperse my rep point too I wasn't aware I had already given to SabanFan. I am happy it notified me because I don't want his head getting too big. :wink:
Obviously I know about my silly thread. Just the fact that you would know your points from before and after getting rep. is a bit much. Or maybe you're a super mod and get a spreadsheet of them. :grin:
this may be a stupid question....but how do you view the rep page? I've searched and searched and cannot find....
