That eagle named Tiger reminds me of a boxer named Livingstone Bramble a few years ago. He had a dog named snake and a snake named dog.
Please. Your own fans don't even get it right, so why should anyone else be able to understand it? And then you had to throw in Plainsman. Two mascots wasn't enough for you? At least all the other schools battle cries match the mascots of the respective schools.
Who the hell needs a battle cry? Why don't you guys just say Go Tigers and we'll say Geaux Tigers? Keep it simple stupid.
Come on guys, it's so simple that it can be kinda confusin. Their mascot is a tiger, only they don't have a tiger for a mascot like LSU's Mike, they have an eagle named Tiger. What could be simpler than that? Wait a second, does that make them the EagleTigers? Uhh, the TigerEagles? Uhh, maybe it ain't so simple after all... Anyway, the only thing that seems absolutely certain is that their tiger has feathers. There, now granted it doesn't make sense, but it's Auburn after all, where tradition consists of toilet paper wrapping their own streets after a victory.
How's this for simple? 31 - 7! And you should have seen those streets filled with toilet paper last October! You just keep trying to figure out OUR traditions and we'll keep spanking you on the field.
It sure seems the rooster..er...war eagle might be crowing a bit prematurely. It will be interesting to see AU's record when they come strolling into Tiger Stadium. I really hope they are undefeated when we meet.
