    No surprises, trump and Clinton.

Trump is already on the downswing but he still is on top, purely on momentum from his peak a few weeks back.

The real question is when the bush surge happens, and if bush can get ahead of Rubio. Those two are the only realistic candidates. Trump and Cruz and clowns who can only ruin things. The party won't let that happen and will decide on Rubio or bush. The party has to pretend not to hate trump so he won't run independent. But the party money and support will end up behind bush or Rubio.

When you say ruin things, do you mean for the party or for the country as a whole? If we aren't ruined we can sure see it from here.....

Mostly the party. he guarantees a loss.

His actual policies are awful, but not totally destructive. It's mean spirited and wrong, for instance, to ban Muslims, but what do I care, Muslims can blow me. That sort of bad policy isn't important or even possible to enact.

The problem is trump is a protectionist. Bad for China. And I like China.

It's good, for example, for our industries to have access to the Chinese market.

It's also good for Americans to have access to cheap Chinese goods. Not that Americans really need anything, we are all fat fuck hoarders that own way too much stuff.

Global capitalism saves the world. Countries that trade with other don't fight. The closer our trade ties are with Asia, the better for everyone. That's why Bernie is so bad. And trump, he thinks trade is a contest with a winner and a loser.

that's only the Democrats, you have to have at 15 % support to be a viable candidate in any one precinct.....I'm saying he actually will win 4 % of the precincts but in many of them his people will need to choose between Clinton or Sanders since their candidate isn't 'viable' in that particular precinct. Hopefully this makes sense. That's the rub, are the O'Malley people going to vote for Hillary more so than Bernie when they appear in too low a number? they can also abstain.

The reason why Trump has a chance is because of the illegal immigration problem. Many of my friends have kids who are working to help pay for their college education. They were "let go" and Mexicans, who are working for a buck less an hour, were hired. This country needs to mandate Everify but this country has already gone to crap in a hand basket.
