    Nice. Nothing like taking the youngins out to fish. I bet they had a great time.

    They did but it was a bigger treat for me due to the fact that they're teenagers and don't come as often as they used to.

    Went back the next day with a 7 yr. old cousin and he had a good day. We kept 41 in 2 1/2 hrs.

    I can't tell, are they gutted with their heads tied to the stick? And yeah, what are they?

    Now that you say it, he does look like Huck Fin. :D

    Pretty sure the stick was run through the head/gill, not tied.

    must be some cutthroat trout he caught fly fishing.

    or maybe golden trout. they are usually small like that.

    I think you are right. Probably Goldens. Plus, most trout other than goldens have a limit of around 10 a day. It makes sense, lake fishing in Montana probably an over populated lake full of Goldens
