BS. Pick an issue and I can define the moderate position, although I sometimes stand to the left or right of it.
Once again you repeat this ridiculous claim. So once again I challenge you to find an example of it. Find me one post where I stated my position based on a poll. I back up my positions with my reasoning all the friggin' time and everyone can see it. I back it up with facts and citations where called for. If I ever mention a "poll" it is just to back up my stated position with some evidence and I can't remember the last time I even did that. Where is this very thread did I use a poll to establish my position? Be specific. You made this childish claim up and you can't back it up. You are a dishonest debater and you can't stay on topic. For you, it's all about criticizing Red now, having failed to make your point. Typical Gen-X slacker. I ridicule, therefore I am.
All you have done is explain what balance is in very broad terms. I want to know the specifics. I want to know what the right amount of balance is and how we will know when we have acheived it.
We all want to know that. If it was an easy and obvious call then there wouldn't be a debate. As I said above, The issues need to be debated so that we can sort the wheat from the chaff. We are all a bit smarter from having hashed out a bunch of issues in this thread. We have dumped some phony issues and some other persist and are being considered. The "co-op" idea is a prime example of someone trying to find a compromise that delivers at least a part of what government insurance does with something between a private business and a government agency. Co-ops have worked well for farmers and for rural electrification. Perhaps it can work here.
