Bill franques one of the best lsu people ever has prostate cancer. Had surgery yesterday. Should be the voice of lsu baseball imo but anyhow he's the sr communications director at LSU employee 30+ yrs and is an Einstein on lsu statistics. He writes the baseball programs and probably football too. Never in the forefront. Loyal to the university to make it what it is despite alleva. He's also the public address announcer for baseball. Supposedly it went ok and if all goes well he will be back at the park in March. Had never missed a game at the new Alex Box. That's probably 400+ games. Good luck to Bill.
