That entire argument is BS and the same thing could be said about the passing. Mett put the ball on the ground once in the game when he was trying to make a play and was being sacked. Our RBs just plain played bad. 3 different RBs put the ball on the ground 4 times. Mett was less "shaky" than our RBs.

If anything Miles has to be more confused about the play calling split after last night.

Call it what you will, but past performance is the best predictor of future behavior. If Les wasn't wiling to throw the kitchen sink at Bama with the NC on the line, then I see no reason that he'll change his offensive philosophy now.

In echoing the above comment, I've said it many times and I will say it again, Les Miles will NEVER CHANGE! You can book on it. The basic tenet that Les Miles will NEVER CHANGE should be inserted as a universal law or principle.

It's kind of like gravity in that we witness it daily but we can't entirely explain its causes, at least outside of a theoretical perspective. And there are several commonly known theories as well. Who am I kidding? We are much farther along in explaining gravity than we will ever be in our attempt to explain Les Miles' inability to change.

Your original point was that Miles has "cemented" his opinion of Mett and passing the ball based off of last nights game. That is BS, it has nothing to do with Les's past. Our RBs put the ball on the ground 4 times last night. In NO way does last nights performance mean Miles is going to reign in the passing. The only thing that looked halfway decent on offense WAS the passing.

Lets not forget that in the past our RBs didn't fumble. Period. Again, if anything last night makes Miles more confident in passing compared to running. Matt's averaging more passes this season than Lee last year. Lst night has done nothing to change that.

I hope you're right. We'll have a good idea which direction we're going in by this time next week, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for this particular tiger to change his stripes.

I don't understand what you're saying. Change what stripes? He's had Mett throw over 20 times every game and 4 of 5 over 25 times. Why would he suddenly limit the passes he's given Mett all season? When auburn was close, Miles still threw. . .

It's not just calling a pass play. It's the type of plays and the lack of creativity. The offense suffers from stagnation due to unparalleled predictability.

I would ask... "Coach...What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?"

Fix the line issue first thenwe'lltalk about the playbook. If Mett is on his back its kinda hard to have a varied passing game.

We get it. You hate Les Miles and LSU is horrible. You post it over and over like a broken record. You are really starting to bore us. Aren't there some other forums that need your sage wisdom?
