So you are actually claiming that when H.W. Bush, W. Bush, Clinton, Obama, Rick Santorum, Edward M. Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, etc all agree on something...that they don't know what they are talking about?

this is something i can agree with however, the hypocrisy reigns in this institution.
to be against gay people but for pedophilia is crazy and thats the message he sent.
guard priest against prosecution but bash gays and condoms, shows again he is just a man and thats it.

Of course there have been bad popes.

There have been popes that have had illegitimate children. There has been a pope that sold the papacy to his nephew and then bought it back. There has even been a pope that dug up the corpse of his predecessor in order to put it on ecclesial trial...(a matter of grave sin lol).

However, through it all...in matters of faith and morals, the Catholic Church has never deviated from what the first apostles preached after Pentecost....and what was later written down as scripture.

This proves that Christianity is of divine origin...not human origin. This proves that the Church is inerrant and the gates of hell will never prevail against it.

Like Gamaliel said...(in Acts) if it is of human origin, it will disappear.
Like Gamaliel warned...don't put yourself in the position of opposing God.

    Dafuq?

With words, he denounced pedophilia worse than homosexuality and using condoms

With actions, he punished pedophilia worse than homosexuality and condoms

But, yes it will forever be controversial whether he did enough with the child abuse scandal or not with some claiming he did and some he didn't

And of course he is just a man, what else would he be? As for being a man that should be considered for Sainthood (like some are doing for JP2 his predecessor), i don't think he or JP2 should be canonized as Saints

with words and thats about it, but he would not let authorities decide there fate, like any other civilized place in the world would.
with actions my ass, sending a priest to a retreat or wherever they go is complete nonsense.
