Perhaps. But its more likely because they are better trained, better equipped, better led, have better doctrine, better logistics, and lots more money.

Well, this is not true. When Clinton was President Saddam actually had chemical weapons. UNSCOM inspectors spent 10 years on the ground in Iraq destroying those weapons under a no-fly zone and American air power. Our own American inspectors told us repeatedly that there were no remaining WMD's in Iraq. The Bush Administration ignored them and began telling lies. "We know where they are" Rumsfeld once said. It is laughable to attempt to blame democrats or anybody else for what was a Bush Administration war. He owns that snowballing clusterfuck lock, stock and barrel.

Not really. Canada, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, most of Western Europe and Scandinavia enjoy American style freedom. Some of their Constitutions were modeled on ours.

You couldn't back up this crap if your life depended on it. Bush owned that war and was responsible for it. He ignored our own people on the ground. Rumsfeld told huge lies. The allies you mention distrusted the Bush administrations assessment. Did the French, Germans, or British support us in Iraq. NO THEY DID NOT. When the fucking Brits won't follow us, something is terribly wrong. It should have been obvious.

    Lol. Really awesome.

With less training, do you believe an American would ever run? Other than Bergdahl, that is.

Seek out a WW2 vet and get back to me.

Where exactly do you see any bragging? They don't brag about what they did or even how they did it. They do talk about the deep love and appreciation for what this country gave them. How often do you spend time with vets older than those involved prior to 1990? Any from the 90's?

    Some did.

You see, even training can't overcome the lack of purpose.

Maybe not for you. Preach along with your negative self.

Not even close. Taxes and unions make them less free. Limited choices in healthcare. Is there a Brit in the world with good teeth? Americans, particularly American women have it good, better than anywhere else. The term American Dream is well known among industrialized nations. Is there a Canadian Dream? British? Japanese? Australia (very xenophobic) or New Zealand? Not a chance. As much as we complain about the cost of living, try it in Canada. Now I realize that Scandinavian women may be the dream of many here but living there doesn't equate to the freedom living within our borders.

You can call it Bush's war all day long and I won't disagree. But we're on Obama's dime now. He owns the current situation. When he hands it off to his successor he can't act as a placeholder blaming it all on his predecessor. And in case you haven't looked, his own people aren't following the talking points. When democrats won't follow Obama, something is terribly wrong.

I served and know those who have. Most nowadays join for the benefits. I did for school and to straighten up. Once in I served for my family and buddies next to me. Not for every dipshit American.

I mean, it's an easy answer to say for freedom, but I and others know our true intent.
