There are a lot of USL alum that might not know we are playing USL this week. I certainly didn't mean to upset anyone. Just a little good natured pre-game smack. I'm just glad I didn't go with my original image...
All joking aside, it took me a full ten minutes to understand what you were getting at. Then, I slowly began to realize that you were referring to the acronym USL vs the acronym ULL or the other acronym UL. Well, the reality of my life's experience is that "USL" IS what I have always called that university...just like the reality of my father's life is that it IS "SLI" to him...and neither one of us means anything derogatory by it at all...it just reflects the reality of our experience. I thought the change of LSUNO to UNO was childish because it had to do with establishing their own "name recognition"; when what's really important is not the name, but what life transforming knowledge and wisdom was imparted by the school to make you a better human being in the context of a civilized society. Names are pure vanity which have nothing to do with substance at all. The fact that you participated and cooperated with bringing a wonderful child into the world who is a unique person in her own right can't even begin to compare with her being labeled Homo sapiens by anthropologists or even being called "sweetie" by her parents. Who cares what you or others call your daughter?...who she IS is more important than that. Who cares what they call USL, what impact does it have on lives?

you gotta be kidding me, using USL and not ULL is classless? I went to USL for a semester, so did alot of people i know, and we all still call it USL.
