Tacky. I don't care what politician some jack@$$ in a volvo likes. Do you think it's going to help change someone's mind? What's the point of it?
And the GOP and big oil who have not spent any resources on researching alternative fuel. But yah lets industrialize the last untouched piece of earth left in this country.
if you want alternatives, buy them. it isnt big oil's responsibility to do your bidding. you shouldnt expect big oil to find alternatives any more than you should expect coke to advertise for pepsi. if you want somebody to take responsibility, do it yourself. how much money have you spent researching alternative fuel? this is a pro-republican ad isnt it?
The GOP has been in bed with big oil forever and as a part of the government of this country should be focused on helping the people not just giant corporations.
if you are waiting for the government to help you develop alternative energies, you will be waiting a long time. the government isnt good at that sort of thing. again, if you want alternatives, buy them. the main problem with democrats is that when they see a problem, they want the government to solve it. and that is a mistake for lots and lots of reasons.
That's a wonderful theory, but there's one problem. There is exactly 0 filling stations in Louisiana that carries Ethanol (on which my truck will run). Trust me I've researched in many times. There's only one such station in Mississippi too, but no public access to it because it at the Stennis Space Station. Anyone who thinks is on sides fault or the other is dreaming. Politicians are corrupt, dishonest, un-trustworthy people just like most other Americans. They are all looking out for themselves and others like them. It's human nature and we all do it too.
I don't like bumper stickers. I like to keep one of these small helmet stickers in the center of my car tag :tigerhead but that's about it. I did put a Bush/Cheney sticker on my vehicle during the election just because I couldn't stand John Kerry. I still have it on there, mainly becasue I think it p!sses people off.
How much extra did you pay for a vehicle that runs on a fuel that isn't even available in our state? Seems like a waste of money to me. To each his own, I guess. Ethanol will probably play itself out. Sure, big cities on the east and west coasts will have access to it, but I just don't see someone investing the money to bring it around here. From what I hear, it isn't really that much cheaper anyway. See, they went about it completely wrong. Instead of developing a cheaper fuel source, they tried to come up with a cleaner fuel source that cost close to what gasoline does. Like anyone gives a crap about how clean the fuel burns.
