I actually enjoy watching the LSU-UT nag games. I don't think they will be competitive anymore, though.

I hear ya CO, some of us express our frustration in different ways. But we can all be united behind the cause. Stay strong, CO, one of these days people will forget this silly experiment and come to their senses.

 

oh come on NLMD... I know you were excited to watch the lady tigers run for the rose, triple crown, or whatever it is they win when they beat the other ladys in pretend basketball.

 

I never posted anything about money being the reason she left, in fact I said i didn't feel that was the reason she was leaving when the story broke. And yes, in case you have been living under a rock the last 5 years Bertman is tight with the purse strings.

 

Now that the truth is out, much of our speculation with other coaching jobs seems a little tame. :shock:

Is this a career ender?

 

She's gonna have a hard time finding another gig unless she moves to California or another homo-acceptable/politically correct setting. That may not even be enough. This has ruined her career and gives LSU a black eye in the process. She is going to end up addressing all this at some point and hopefully its sooner rather than later so this whole ugly incident can be put behind us. As long as no legal mess ensues this will fade away quickly. The last thing we want is lawyers dragging this thing along for months or years. It doesnt sound like that will happen but who knows. I just hope its one player from a past team and an isolated incident at that. If she was involved with more than one or if any players are current, ut oh. Then it gets even uglier.

The entire situation sucks. o:

 

Give me a break. It will tarnish her for about a year, then she'll get another gig.

If Larry Eustachy can get another job at all after what he did and Mike Price can get another job after what he did, Pokey will be able to get another job.
