I wish that they would clarify the 'inappropriate conduct' thing, because I can't help thinking what I'm thinking.
that's because you're thinking what they're thinking. "inappropriate conduct with one or more players" is pretty self-explanatory isn't it?
Well, you would think so. But someone brought up going out drinking with the players. That could easily be stated the same way.
Going out drinking and partying with some players would be inappropriate conduct, in my opinion. However, I'm not sure whether this kind of inappropriate conduct would be severe enough to warrant resignation. In any event, GO GET MULKEY !!
Now it says Chatman had "inappropriate relationships" with some players. Seems pretty clear what was going on now. See nola.com
Coaching is in many ways all about discipline. For 400K a year, you'd think a person would pay very close attention to their own self-discipline. Whatever it was she did, I'm sure she knows it was a bad decision. She'll live with this much longer than any of us will. I wish her the best. Let's move on.
I don't think she would come here. I'll admit I only follow women's bball with reguards to LSU only. From what I've picked in the last 24 hrs: She gets paid more at Baylor and LSU might get into a bidding war with Baylor or Florida for her services, she had the spat with Pokey over the recruitment of Allison Hightower, and the women bball followers don't like her from her days at LaTech with Leon Barmore.
But if she really hates Pokey, I couldn't think of a better way to get back at her than to take over her program.
well, I do know a little about Baylor women hoops - and BU will pay what it costs to keep Kim in the fold as that is one of the few sports Baylor has succeeded in the last several years. Word was Kim was pretty upset that LSU did not seek her out the first time around when Pokey got the gig - and Kim is a proud woman. I would be shocked if she left Baylor for LSU
Does someone need to draw pictures? Inappropriate conduct with one or more players (if true) really needs no clarification if you are older than 15.
