and who are you to say they are wrong if you agree with them that there is a magic man upstairs who works in mysterious ways. not sure specifically which references you mean, but yes. the policy of the government should always be that religious ideas and faith are a matter for individuals and should never be supported or encouraged or discouraged in any way. thats not quite an acceptable plan, and is definitely unacceptable when dealing with children, who basically believe everything adults tell them. i know, that is the problem, that is why good people are murdered by bad people.
incidentally, i used to anti-religion, but in the last 5 years or so my patience for irrationality has been pushed over the line by muslims. the long term solution to this damn holy war is to quit telling anyone that is acceptable to spread their craziness. even if they are christian. if we lived our lives based on rational concepts, we wouldnt have to deal with as much crap. i would like the public debate on religious issues to be more honest, and people to really call out and ridicule religion for what it is. a more brutal critcism of mysticism and magic is what we need to lead the world away from the idea that anything is true if you say it is. that is a terribly dangerous idea and i hate it.
Joseph McCarthy and the Knights of Columbus spearheaded the effort to interject 'under God' into the pledge. So I don't want to hear anymore B.S. about our forefathers, as the Pledge of Allegiance did not originally contain the phrase.
also i am in a bad mood because i had a hard drive with my favorite porn on it and it crashed and burned. that old familiar porn was like an old friend and i will miss it. also i cant play medal of honor anymore and i enjopyed playing that occasionally. but mostly i miss my porn. it was hi grade porn and this is a sad day for mankind.
I have a question for you martin. When did "One Nation Under god" get turn into an exact statement. No where does it state who's god it only says god. Why does it matter which name is used. Me and you have had a conversation on my views of religion so you know where I stand on that matter. But why does it have to be broken down to mean one god why cant it be a genarel refrence. Weither it is Allah, Budda, God or Genuish(I know I spelled that wrong), eventhough the names are differnet they all have the same meaning "One power or being over others" So why cant "One nation under god" really mean "One Nation under your god"
