The only problem I have with your stance is that we don't KNOW RP wouldn't have made a difference. With him in the game, IMHO, we run the ball better. Like I said earlier...I dunno if he makes better throws today than Flynn...but when he is injected into the game, we play better. He hardly sniffed the field the second half at all...and I NEVER saw him in OT. The thread title says play Perriloux MORE...it doesn't say RP should start, or wouldn't have made any bad plays. Crap, even CLM says its better when both play...yet didn't choose to play him late.

Here, here. What the hell happened to RP and C Scott in the second half?

I know this is the first loss, but this coaching staff has been suspect from game 1.

OK, how about 4 out of the 7 games. Can you go with that?

I mean, I can't remember the last time watching LSU games and saying to myself so many times "What the hell are they doing?" for EVERY GAME. This coaching staff constantly has me scratching my head.

I can't go with that. Not even for this game.

I saw a lack of execution on the part of our players, offense and defense. I saw us become one dimensional, because we could not depend on our wr's to actually catch the ball. I saw our kicker narrowly miss a 57 yard field goal with 2 seconds left to win the game when everyone expected Miles would just chunk it and go in to overtime. I saw a good Kentucky team play damn good against us and come out on top.

At no time did I see this staff get outcoached tonight, nor have I seen it in any other games this year.

Seriously Dude, don't you think a team can be outcoached and still win? The pure talent on this team has carried them lots.

Be thankful I'm not a mod. This board has no use for a bucket of Douche like you're turning out to be.

This reaction is so typical after a loss. I don't really know what game you were watching today. THE PLAYERS LOST TODAY's GAME. We did not deserve to win. I think it is a credit to our team that they at least battled and forced 3 OT's. WE HAD A BAD BAD game, O.K. but to blame Miles is lunacy. If you look at the stats you will see no dropped balls by any of the coaches, you will see no missed assignments by any coaches, you will see no penalties by any coaches, you will see no missed tackles by any coaches, you will see no receivers left wide open by any coaches. Last week we battled and played with alot of heart and won.

    Today we were OUTPLAYED.

This meltdown is embarrasing. We talk about people on other boards but this is worse. I don't see alot of regulars with the CHICKEN LITTLE attitude.

First of all, everybody needs to calm down. We just lost to a pretty damn good team on the road in the SEC. It happens. You had know that it was unlikely that we could go undefeated in this league. We lost a game... the season is not over.

This loss can not be blamed on Matt Flynn. Period. Did he make a few bad throws? Yes, but if you look at this game objectively you will realize that our WR corp is inexperienced and it is killing us. The bad routes, dropped passes, and stupid penalties can not be blamed on MF. And RP can't help with those problems.

A lot you that are calling for RP are probably the same ones that were calling for MF the last three years...

The other three things that stand out to me:

    1) The o-line is incredibly inconsistent.
    2) Incredibly stupid penalties at really crucial times.
    2) Our defense is good but maybe not quite what we thought it was.

This was a tough loss but it's not time to give up. If we take care of business the rest of the way, we still have a great shot at playing for the national championship.

    GEAUX TIGERS!!!
