    The one thing I'll remember from this game, and please let it be a trend.

    LSU goes for it on 4th and 1 at midfield in the first half. Again, on the same drive, goes for it on 4th and 1 at around the 35. Two conversions, drive ends in a TD.

    This is called taking a calculated risk, and it's what separates winners from losers. 80% of the time, or more, your team will find a way to get that one yard. Most coaches do not have the balls, choosing to play it safe lest they risk being criticized if it doesn't work out.

    During the first part of his time at LSU, Les Miles was the best at turning what the opponent would think is a kicking situation into a first down or a touchdown. I don't know why he stopped doing this, because this is how you turn the tables on coaches who are smarter and more tactical than you (a common problem for Les and O).
