Somewhat off point, (gosh that is a first on TigerForums :), but) my wife and I were talking during the AZ/GB game about how enjoyable it was to watch a great offensive game when you really didn't care about the outcome. Can you imagine how the great fans at GB felt at the end of the game - UNBELIEVABLE.

IMHO, Saturday will be our turn for nail biting. I agree defense is the key, but I know "the last man standing" discussion from Cajun S. will probably be in play. It is going to be a hellava game.

True-and another thing of note. When a defender grabs him, preventing him from throwing with his right arm, he will often switch the ball to his left in order to throw it away. He is somewhat ambidextrous and has the arm strength to do that. If a defender is heads up about it, it is a great opportunity to create a turnover.

If i'm correct, the saints defense has allowed the third to lowest passer rating average in the nfl this past season. Then the saints played several games without there top 2 starting cornerbacks and still accomplished this. This saints defense is built to stop the pass not the run. Keep in mind we playing a team that gave up 45 points last week!!! WHO DAT!!!!

The mother of all bulletin board material....

I doubt we'll hear a response from Brees before Saturday....I just hope we see that response come game time.

Well he is going to get his chance on Saturday. Wonder what he'll say after that game. Actually the beast in their secondary is the SS Adrian Wilson. He is 6'3" 235 lbs and they blitz him a good bit. I found this on youtube, check it out

I don't want this guy getting a clean shot at Breese.

I think it will be a shootout, except that there will be one key turnover in the fourth to clinch it...for the Saints:)

I think it will be a high scoring game but not a shootout. Cards come into the dome on a short week, after an emotionally draining game that went into OT....I have a feeling we could pull away.

The key will be getting pressure with 4, IMO. That worries me a bit with Grant out, but if someone steps up so they can't double smith all game that will be huge.

Their secondary looked bad, I don't think Adams could cover me. Moore, Shockey, etc back, I think we can outscore them.

2-3 weeks rest for the people playing injured seems to overlooked too. We will be the healthier team on the field Saturday, and it has been a long time since that happened.

Plus I'll be yelling from section 645. Whodat!

I'll say 31-24 Saints with Brees spreading it around as usual. Warner will move the ball fairly well but a couple of big mistakes in the red zone (possibly late) doom their fate.

Vikings / Cowboys turns out to be an instant classic with big hits and late game drama. Favre leans on AP (or AD as he calls himself) a little more than he has lately and somehow pulls out a victory. Hopefully the winner of this game will be a little banged up for next week.
