All of this mentioned about which players make us proud to be LSU fans. How about which coaches that make us proud? The first name that comes to my mind is Coach Bertman. Everything he's done for the university and the state of Louisiana is second to none.
Cholly Mac. He ran a great program, just happened to be in the same era as the Bear. None the less, he was a great asset to LSU. I see a lot of him in Les Miles, and that is a good thing.
I have a feeling that we are going to feel blessed that JL, after all he's been through, decided to stick around. We'll see.
I have to give it up to Jarrett Lee as well. I could not have done what he did to stick it out like this. And not once a disparaging word.
If he comes in and starts lighting shyt up and goes on to win the BCSNC.....they should make a movie about it.
