Mutiny. Seriously, it's a team leader getting the guys together without the coaches, and holding the PLAYERS responsible for the things that THEY control. The stupid penalties, etc... I like to see it. The last two seasons, we have been lacking leadership on this team. Now we have it in spades...just not at one position. Jarrett Lee didn't light the world on fire, and will make crucial mistakes, but he led the team today and played with confidence. I'm fully in the JL camp now...in case you couldn't tell.
It's official. Coach Les Miles has lost the team. This is a shiit sandwich no matter which way you cut it.
I don't believe it is mutiny. I would like to think this is a positive thing, and the meeting is to make sure everyone is on the same page. Oh yeah, and to slap some guys silly for turnovers and penalties! In all seriousness, maybe it will take players getting into other players' faces to play smart football. :geauxtige
Maybe the defense will implore the offense to get there heads out there arses before they run the D in the ground. Although the TOP did even out today, the D was getting gassed early in the 4th.
